Ways to use Formatives to shift to a Formative Assessment-Centered classroom

This summer I’ve been reading MATHEMATICS Formative Assessment 75 practical strategies for linking Assessment, Instruction and Learning The book provides 75 FACTS, formative assessment classroom techniques to help integrate assessment and instruction by learning more about what students need to be successful learners of mathematics. My plan is to transform some of the strategies into Formatives and catalog them within 6 specific categories:

Engagement and Readiness
Elicit Prior Knowledge
Exploration and Discovery
Concept ans skill Development
Concept and skill Transfer
Self-Assessment and Reflection

I was wondering if anyone thought this would be a helpful feature to add when publishing Formatives in addition to listing Grade, Subject and Description. Was also wondering if you’l like to share and categorize any of your Formatives.

Thanks Lonnie
